Vysto Refund and Cancellation Policy
Document: Refund and Cancellation Policy Version: 1.0 Effective date: 23 October 2026 Status: Published Related documents: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie & Tracking Notice
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It explains how trials end, how to cancel a paid plan, when fees are refunded, and what happens to a Customer’s site and content.
Vysto LLC (“Vysto,” “we”) sells subscriptions to businesses through Stripe. Prices below are the public prices as of the draft date and can change for new purchases. The price at checkout is the price that applies to that purchase.
1. The free trial
Every plan starts with the full platform at no charge for 30 days. During those 30 days the Customer can use the conversational site, Classic View, Vysto MCP, and the scraping module, without nugget limits or feature gates that distinguish the trial from the paid product, except for voice.
Voice is not part of that 30-day entitlement. Voice runs on a separate 7-day trial. When the 7-day voice trial ends, voice is blocked, even if days remain on the 30-day platform trial. The rest of the platform continues until the 30-day trial ends.
No card is required to describe this trial in the product. If checkout collects a payment method, it will say so before the Customer pays. We do not charge the trial period itself.
When the 30 days end
- The published site reverts to a holding page. Conversational and Classic View content are not served to Visitors.
- The Customer then has 30 days to choose a paid plan and restore the site as it was left, including its Nuggets.
- If the Customer does not start a paid plan in those 30 days, the site and Customer Content are removed from production systems. Rebuilding means creating the site again. We do not promise that a later signup will recover the removed workspace.
The restore window is the 30 days after the trial ends, not an extension of the free trial. The holding page is not the product.
2. Paid plans
After the trial, the Customer can choose:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, paid up front |
|---|---|---|
| Vysto MCP | $10 per month | $100 per year |
| Vysto Conversational | $49 per month | $499 per year |
| Vysto Advanced | Custom order | Custom order |
| Vysto Enterprise | Custom order | Custom order |
Annual MCP is two months less than twelve monthly payments. Annual Conversational is $89 less than twelve monthly payments. Advanced and Enterprise follow the signed order, including any SLA or setup fee stated there. Self-serve plans have no SLA, as the Terms explain.
MCP includes Classic View on a custom domain, static pages, the MCP connection, and the scraping module. Conversational adds the conversational experience (voice or text) on the custom domain, with Classic View still available. Moving between MCP and Conversational does not rebuild Nuggets.
3. How to cancel
The Customer may cancel a self-serve subscription in the billing area of the account, or by emailing billing@vysto.ai from the account email address.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not cut off a period that has already been paid.
- Monthly: the plan remains available until the end of the current monthly period, then ends.
- Annual: the plan remains available until the end of the prepaid year, unless a refund under Section 4 ends it sooner.
- Advanced and Enterprise cancel on the terms of the signed order. If the order is silent, this policy applies.
We send a confirmation of cancellation to the account email. The Customer should keep that confirmation.
Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so the Customer keeps the higher plan for the period already paid. Upgrades take effect when purchased. We charge the difference or start the new price at that time, as checkout states.
4. Refunds
Monthly plans
A monthly fee is for the month that has started. We do not refund or pro-rate a partial month once that month has been charged. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Annual plans
- If the Customer cancels within 14 days of the initial annual charge, and emails billing@vysto.ai within that window, we refund the annual fee in full and close the paid plan. Customer Content then follows Section 6.
- After those 14 days, the annual fee is not refundable. The Customer keeps the plan until the end of the prepaid year and may cancel renewal so the plan does not bill again.
The 14-day window applies to the first purchase of that annual term, not to a later renewal, and not to a plan that was converted from a refunded annual purchase of the same workspace.
Trial and free use
There is nothing to refund for the free trial. Usage during the trial does not create a right to a credit.
Advanced, Enterprise, and custom work
Setup fees, implementation fees, and custom invoices are refundable only if the order says so. If the order is silent, fees already invoiced for work that has started are not refundable, and unused prepaid subscription months follow the order or, if the order does not speak to refunds, Section 4’s annual rule.
What we do not refund
- Partial months on a monthly plan.
- Annual fees after the 14-day window.
- Fees for a period in which the account was suspended for a breach of the Terms or the acceptable-use rules.
- Amounts Stripe or a bank has already reversed through a chargeback. If a chargeback is filed for a fee that this policy does not treat as refundable, we may suspend the account and dispute the chargeback. The Customer should ask for a refund under this policy first.
How a refund is paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Timing depends on the card issuer, commonly 5 to 10 business days after we submit the refund, and sometimes longer.
When the law requires more
If a statute that applies to this purchase gives a consumer a withdrawal or refund right that this policy does not, that statute controls for that purchase. These plans are offered to businesses, not as consumer downloadable content.
5. Failed payment
If a renewal charge fails, we will notify the account email and retry through Stripe. If payment is not corrected, the site may move to a holding page and the workspace may enter the same deletion timeline as a cancellation, after notice. The Customer can restore the site by paying the amount due before production deletion, and by settling any unpaid invoice.
6. What happens to tenant data
This section covers Customer Content (Nuggets, pages, media, branding, imports, workspace configuration) and Visitor personal data stored in the workspace. Billing records are kept for tax and accounting even after deletion of the site, as the Privacy Policy states.
Free-tier expiry
| Day | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 0 to 30 | Free trial. Full platform. |
| Day 30 | Trial ends. Site becomes a holding page. Content is retained, not served. |
| Day 30 to 60 | Restore window. Choosing a paid plan restores the site. |
| After day 60 | Site and Customer Content are removed from production. The site would have to be rebuilt. Encrypted backups then expire on the backup cycle and are not a restore path for that workspace. |
Cancellation of a paid plan
| Moment | What happens |
|---|---|
| Cancellation requested | Service continues through the end of the paid period. |
| Paid period ends | Site becomes a holding page. Content is retained, not served. |
| Next 30 days | Export and resubscribe window. The Customer may export Customer Content or start a plan and restore the site. |
| After that 30 days | Customer Content and Visitor personal data in the workspace are removed from production. Backups expire on the backup cycle. |
Export
During an open subscription and during the applicable window above, the Customer may export Customer Content. We will not charge a separate fee for a reasonable export on current self-serve plans. A very large Advanced or Enterprise export may be scheduled, and the order may set a fee. We do not hold content hostage for a fee on self-serve plans.
What deletion does not cover
- Invoices, tax records, and the Stripe customer record, kept as the law requires.
- Aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not identify the Customer or a Visitor.
- Copies a Visitor or the Customer already exported or forwarded elsewhere.
- Content we must keep for a legal hold, a dispute, or a DMCA record. We keep only what the hold requires, and we delete it when the hold ends.
Resubscribing later
A new account after production deletion is a new workspace. We do not promise to recover the old one.
7. Plan changes and price changes
The Customer may switch between MCP and Conversational as Section 3 describes. A price change for an existing subscription is a material change to the Terms. We will tell the Customer before the renewal it applies to. The Customer may cancel before that renewal.
